Alien invasion movies made these days are often about explosions and giant hovering ships. Back in the day a weird creature would wind up on Earth accidentally and start causing mild trouble much to the chagrin of the local teens and disbelieving law enforcement.
The Blob is an alien organism that crashes to earth in a meteorite. It's kind of like an amoeba, just creeping along devouring everything in it's path. I think I like the 80's remake the most, it was just a little cheesier and packed with great Blob kills. Never saw Son of Blob though, it looks like it would be pretty bad/good.

Nice Belt
There was a time when I devoured everything Dragonball. It's weird seeing it still on tv and the new releases of videogames despite the fact that it's been over for around 15 years.

Professor Alien
There are gonna be a whole bunch of random aliens who I have no idea who they are. Most are gonna be of the "fairly humanoid, face bumps, were on a show on the Sci-Fi network for a season and a half till it got canceled" variety.

Personal Space
Like any upstanding geek, I have a soft spot for old arcade games. I think Pac-Man is my favorite but there are no aliens to be found in that game.

At least it was Cauterized
Mos Eisley (a wrenched hive of scum and villainy naturally) from Star Wars is gonna provided me with a huge amount of random aliens for this project, specifically the Cantina scene. One hard thing about this project is finding less known aliens. Luckily if a character shows up for even 5 seconds in a Star Wars movie there probably is a whole book based on them.

Echo....Echo...Echo
I've never seen the kids show "Ben10" but it seems like a fun enough program. I think the premise is that a kid finds a alien wristband thing that lets him turn into 10 different alien forms, each with it's own special ability. I'm guessing he uses the power to fight other aliens, or maybe an evil organization like team Rocket?
This is one of his forms EchoEcho, actually I guess it's his super form. Probably once they ran out of toys to make for the show each character got an super form so that there would be more toys to sell.

Funky
I really enjoy a good cooperative multiplayer videogame. The sad thing is they are pretty rare, even more so back in the days of the Sega Genesis.
I have no idea how much time I sunk into Toejam & Earl when I was a kid. The premise was that two street smart aliens from the planet Funkotron crash their ship on Earth. It's up to you and a friend to collect all the missing parts of the ship while collecting powerups and avoiding all the dangerous earthlings.

Fighting Evil by Moonlight
I just re-watched a couple of Sailor Moon episodes while working on this piece. It's been ages since I've seen that show and had completely forgotten about these baddies.
Ann and her brother Ail (put 'em together and it sounds like Alien) are the last of their race. The two went undercover as human siblings on Earth where they have an evil tree that steals energy. No matter who the enemies in Sailor Moon were it seemed like they always wanted to steal energy, either from a kooky computer programs or evil gyms.

Lafayette Ron Hubbard is the creator of plenty of silly things but Battlefield Earth may be one of the worst. In the movie a race of aliens called the Cyclos that have taken over Earth. But then they are overthrown by a plucky group of human slaves led by Johnnie Goodboy Tyler, a human made kinda smart by the Cyclos.

Squatty Body
So I'm enjoying my Friday quite a bit. Work was kinda same ol' same ol' but everything else was fun. So you'll have to excuse the rush job on this fella.
The Sontaran are aliens from the Doctor Who universe. I have no idea what their story is, I'm guessing they are some sort of space mercenary. Enjoy this silly guy while I go enjoy the rest of my night.

The Main Man
Lobo is basically Superman if Superman chugged Red Kryptonite 40oz. beers. For people not as geeky as me red kryptonite turns Superman into a boozy womanizing oaf. Lobo flies around on space motorcycle punching things in the ear.
L as in lacerate, O as in obliterate, B as in disemBowel, and O as in...Obliterate. If Lobo existed in real life I think he would sound like Randy Savage.

Skunk'd
Hepzibah is a member of the StarJammers (Space pirates in the Marvel Comics universe) She is supposed to be a skunk human which sounds pretty stupid to me, I guess she used to look more skunky but people realized that was a pretty silly thing to do.

To Infinity
Just like everybody else in the world, I really like Pixar's movies. I've yet to see Toy Story 3 though but I guess that's a fairly attainable goal.
Went with a slightly simpler style on this.

Nom Nom Nom
Futurama is a great show. I'm not sure if it's surpassed good Simpson's for me but it's yet to get unfunny, so I would much rather watch a Futurama episode any day of the week. More importantly though it has a great supply of aliens to draw.
Nibbler is Leela's pet alien. She herself is not an alien though but a mutant. He likes to eat stuff and poop out dark matter.

Power Up
Nintendo's Metroid series is one of the most beloved in all of gaming. It's usually had nothing but praise until recent years. The last full game I've played through though was probably the first Metroid Prime. I wish a collection of the Gameboy games would come out because that run seems much more interesting to me.
This is one of those Chozo statues that always hold a nice little power up for our favorite space bounty hunter Samus Aran. Even though it kind of looks like a dragonball I assure you it's most likely something like the screw attack or space jump. Dang... I should have made it Samus in ball form, oh well.
